Requirements
CEP Ottawa is looking for a Vice-President of Finance* to manage the budget, financial strategy, and day-to-day accounting of the organization.
We are looking for someone with a strong internal drive to develop their financial acumen and a desire to develop leadership and management skills. You can be at any stage of your professional journey.
You will be responsible for managing CEPs finances. You determine whether or not our events and operations are financially sustainable and help us keep our ideas within the realm of reality (while also challenging us to push the limits). You are an essential part of our exciting and ambitious team.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about encouraging and taking action to solve the environmental crisis. You have a positive mindset and enjoy working in teams. When faced with challenges or uncertainty, you will do what it takes to get the job done. You are well organized and autonomous. Ideally you work in a sustainability/environment related field and are aware of the main threats to our planet & societies. You have experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or other related fields.
